SaferAging Dashboard

Ideal For Organizations

If you are responsible for the care of multiple seniors, we have the perfect solution for you! The SaferAging real-time dashboard allows you to view the state of all your seniors and receive instant alerts and warnings if an issue arises.

SaferAging is based on five key elements that
work together to help a senior stay independent:

  1. Quick reaction to falls/sudden illness: A senior who falls in his/her home, but who is able to get assistance within the hour, has about a 90% probability of being able to return to independent living. For that reason, a core part of the SaferAging service is a state-of-the-art emergency pendant system that, with the touch of a button, calls 911 and turns into a two-way walkie talkie that the senior can use to communicate with the 911 operator. This technology is a huge improvement from older systems that rely on the senior being close to a speakerphone in one of the senior's rooms.
  2. Regular human interaction: The second element of the SaferAging service is our Daily Call. Each morning, a person from SaferAging calls the senior to check in and see how they are doing. The calls also serve as a memory assistance tool. Seniors and their adult children can add reminders – to-do items, upcoming doctor's appointments, etc. - to the shared calendar, and the representative will make sure to add the reminders to the daily call.
  3. Simple-to-install sensor system for the senior's home: The third element of the service is the automated sensor system we provide for the senior's home. The sensors detect things like the current temperature inside the home, whether recent motion was detected, and whether there was pillbox activity. We use the sensor data with our smart alerts system to be able to address situations like this: "We normally detect motion at Mary's house by 8 a.m. each morning. It's now 10 a.m., and we haven't seen anything. We need to notify the family (and, where appropriate, the caregiver)". We help the family describe the normal activity profile for their loved one, and then use that to identify exceptions that might be an early indicator of an issue (e.g., excessive nighttime activity, no pillbox activity detected, and more).
  4. Our daily dashboard and alerting system: Each day, the family is sent the updated dashboard for their aging loved one, and is able to see first-hand how things are going. That's also where a family member can add reminders to the senior's calendar. All the information we gather is securely collected into a simple-to-read dashboard that easy to understand and act on. When SaferAging does detect a potential issue, we use our alerting system to reach out to people responsible for the aging loved one via phone, text and email to inform them of the happening. Each family defines the priority order of who to contact and how to contact them, and we take it from there. The system also provides a daily activity graph, which allows for a quick visual recognition of behavioral patterns.
  5. Interaction with Care Givers and the Care Giver Report: The system may be configured to convey weekly reports from a personal care giver. Many seniors are being assisted by a care giver who may tend to them on a daily basis. The care giver's daily interaction with the senior may provide a good indicator as to the well being of the senior and may serve as an early detection system for any changes, or deterioration in the senior's status. The SaferAging system will automatically solicit (via the phone or the web) a weekly report from the care giver that will be distributed to the family members.
